Sumitomo Corporation Announces New Branding for its Summit Agro USA Subsidiary

Sumitomo Corporation AgriScience Department is announcing a new global brand identity that will be implemented in the United States by Summit Agro USA. 

Sumitomo Corporation, whose agribusiness companies specialize in the development and distribution of advanced crop protection products, fertilizers and seeds, developed its new corporate identity with the goal of ensuring a unified global presence.

The company has been engaged in trading and wholesaling of agricultural chemicals for more than 40 years, and currently operates companies in 37 countries, contributing to agricultural production with producers around the world. The global brand identity reflects a new corporate mission to provide innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture and to be close to agricultural producers.

The new logo design features a circular image representing Sumitomo’s global presence working in harmony with growers all over the world. The different tones of orange and green define the logo. The orange tone evokes the company’s work towards a bright future like a rising sun. The green leaf, which reflects life, underlines the company’s focus on agriculture, as well as a daily commitment to the environment and sustainable products that benefit growers and society. This circle encompasses open spaces showing Sumitomo Corporation’s openness and willingness to develop and welcome new types of alliances and technological solutions for the always diverse and new needs of growers.
